Disabled Mods Documentation: mustard.gorgarath.net
This document tracks disabled mods, the reasons they were disabled, and the conditions under which they may be considered for future reintroduction.
Disabled mod entries may document mods that are:
- Temporarily disabled for testing.
- Removed from the active modpack but retained for historical reference.
- Disabled due to compatibility, stability, configuration, or design decisions.
Dates marked as (documented) in this document indicate when the disabled status was documented. The actual date a mod was disabled may be earlier and is not always known.
Each mod entry includes a review condition for quick reference and review triggers for the specific circumstances that may justify reconsidering the decision.
This document should be updated when mods are disabled, re-enabled, removed permanently, or when the reason for disabling a mod changes.
Categories of Disabled Mods
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Declared Incompatibility | The mod loader, mod metadata, or another mod explicitly prevents these mods from loading together. |
| Compatibility Issue | Mods can load together but cause crashes, bugs, broken behavior, or conflicts. |
| Stability Issue | The mod causes crashes, hangs, or unacceptable runtime problems. |
| Configuration Issue | The mod functions but causes configuration-related problems. |
| Dependency Removed | The mod was required by another mod or feature that is no longer present. |
| Superseded / Redundant | Functionality is provided elsewhere or the mod has been replaced by another choice. |
| Intentionally Omitted | The mod works correctly but is intentionally not included. |
| Deferred for Production | Disabled during testing but may be enabled on the production world. |
Disabled Mods
Anti-Xray
File: antixray-neoforge-1.4.8+1.21.1.jar
Category: Declared Incompatibility
Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented)
Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26
Status: Disabled due to incompatibility with zfastnoise.
Review Condition: When zfastnoise or Anti-Xray updates.
Reason
Anti-Xray cannot be loaded during server startup because the installed zfastnoise version declares an incompatibility with it.
zfastnoise is currently used by the modpack for world-generation performance, so Anti-Xray cannot be enabled without removing or replacing zfastnoise.
While Anti-Xray would provide protection against players using x-ray mods, this server is primarily a private friends and family server where the risk is considered low. Additionally, with the current world generation and performance-related mods installed, Anti-Xray would add additional processing overhead.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if:
zfastnoiseremoves the incompatibility.- Anti-Xray gains compatibility with the current world generation stack.
- The server becomes public or the player base expands beyond trusted users.
Create: Ballast
File: ballastmod-0.1.0.jar
Category: Compatibility Issue Date Disabled: 2026-08-01 Last Reviewed: 2026-08-01 Status: Disabled due to crashes. Review Condition: When a newer stable version becomes available.
Reason
During testing updates to other mods, this mod caused server crashes. The ballast blocks were not currently being used, so disabling is not affecting the world.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if compatibility improved in a future version.
BlueMap / Offline Player Markers
Files:
bluemap-5.7-neoforge.jarbluemapofflineplayermarkers-neoforge-1.4.2b-release.jar
Category: Deferred for Production Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled intentionally. Review Condition: Consider after production launch.
Reason
BlueMap was disabled because this world is currently a testing environment before becoming the new primary long-term world.
Generating and maintaining BlueMap data adds additional processing and storage requirements that are unnecessary during testing.
Previous worlds also did not make significant use of BlueMap, so it was not retained as part of the standard server configuration.
Review Trigger
Consider enabling when the production world is established and if there is renewed interest in maintaining a web-based map.
Connector / Connector Extras
Files:
connector-2.0.0-beta.15+1.21.1-full.jarConnectorExtras-1.12.1+1.21.1.jar
Category: Dependency Removed Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled because the dependent mods were removed or replaced. Review Condition: Consider if Fabric compatibility is needed again.
Reason
Connector and Connector Extras were previously included during testing to allow Fabric mods to run under NeoForge. They are no longer required because the Fabric-dependent mods were either removed or replaced with NeoForge-compatible alternatives.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if a desired mod requires Fabric compatibility.
Create: Steam 'n' Rails Tank Fix
File: createsa_tank_fix-1.3.jar
Category: Compatibility Issue Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled due to feature overlap with current Create Stuff & Additions version. Review Condition: When the mod updates or adds configuration options.
Reason
This mod provided useful improvements for Create Stuff & Additions tanks.
However, spouts were added directly into Create Stuff & Additions, while this addon also provides spouts. Having both enabled causes duplicate content and clients disconnect when attempting to use anything relating to spouts.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if:
- The mod removes the duplicate spout functionality.
- A configuration option is added to disable conflicting features.
Flower Mimics
File: flowermimics-1.21.1-2.1.jar
Category: Intentionally Omitted Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled intentionally. Review Condition: If modpack design changes.
Reason
The mod was tested but is not currently desired for this server.
Review Trigger
Consider enabling if this feature becomes desirable.
Forgified Fabric API
File: forgified-fabric-api-0.116.7+2.2.4+1.21.1.jar
Category: Dependency Removed Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled because the dependent mod was removed. Review Condition: If another mod requires Fabric compatibility.
Reason
This library was required by a mod that has since been removed from the modpack. The current modpack no longer requires Fabric compatibility libraries.
Review Trigger
Consider restoring only if another installed mod requires it.
Just Enough Guns New (unofficial port)
File: jegn-1.7.4+neoforge1.21.1.jar
Category: Intentionally Omitted Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled intentionally; the server is currently testing Timeless & Classics Guns: Zero instead. Review Condition: If the modpack moves away from TaCZ.
Reason
The previous 1.20.1 Forge world used Just Enough Guns.
The NeoForge 1.21.1 version differs from the previous implementation, and the server chose to test and use Timeless & Classics Guns: Zero instead.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if the NeoForge port improves or if the server changes gun mods.
KryptonFoxified
File: KryptonFoxified-0.1.0+mc1.21.jar
Category: Stability Issue Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled due to crashes. Review Condition: When a newer stable release becomes available.
Reason
Enabled versions of KryptonFoxified caused server crashes.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if compatibility improves in a future version.
ScalableLux
File: ScalableLux-0.1.0.1+neoforge.1cb1e91-all.jar
Category: Declared Incompatibility Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled due to a declared incompatibility with Sable. Review Condition: When Sable or ScalableLux updates.
Reason
Sable includes a compatibility blacklist for ScalableLux because previous versions of ScalableLux caused issues with Sable.
When detected together, Sable intentionally prevents the combination from loading.
ScalableLux would otherwise be useful because improved lighting handling could reduce client and server lighting workload.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if:
- ScalableLux resolves the issues that caused the blacklist.
- Sable removes the compatibility restriction.
ServerConfigCleaner
File: ServerConfigCleaner-1.1-1.21.0-neo.jar
Category: Configuration Issue Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled due to reliability issues and currently unnecessary functionality. Review Condition: If the repeated correction loop issue is fixed.
Reason
The mod worked normally initially, but after some server restarts it would occasionally enter a repeated configuration correction loop every five seconds.
Recovery required:
- Stopping the server.
- Removing the affected configuration file.
- Removing generated backup files.
- Restarting the server.
Because this server performs regular nightly restarts, this behavior was considered unacceptable.
Additionally, the server currently does not contain sensitive configuration values that would justify the additional configuration cleaning layer.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if:
- The mod resolves the configuration correction loop issue.
- Client-distributed configuration files begin containing sensitive information such as tokens or passwords.
TabTPS
File: tabtps-neoforge-mc1.21.1-1.3.25.jar
Category: Stability Issue Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled due to crashes. Review Condition: When a newer stable version releases.
Reason
TabTPS caused server crashes when enabled.
Review Trigger
Consider testing again if a future version resolves the issue.
Wall Lanterns
File: walllanterns-3.1.1.jar
Category: Superseded / Redundant Date Disabled: 2026-07-26 (documented) Last Reviewed: 2026-07-26 Status: Disabled due to duplicate functionality. Review Condition: If the overlapping feature is removed.
Reason
The feature provided by this mod, placing hanging lanterns on walls, is already available through Supplementaries, which adds many other features as well.
Keeping both mods enabled would duplicate functionality unnecessarily, and this standalone mod is therefore redundant.
Review Trigger
Consider enabling if Supplementaries is removed.

Notes
- Disabled mods are not necessarily broken; many are excluded because of compatibility, redundancy, or server design decisions.
- Disabled mods may be retained when useful so previous decisions can be reviewed after updates, compatibility testing can be performed, or historical context can be preserved.
- The client modpack removes disabled mods rather than leaving them renamed or disabled. Some launchers, including CurseForge, may automatically enable disabled mods when importing a modpack.
- This document records the reason a mod is disabled, not whether it is permanently removed.
- A mod being present in this documentation does not indicate it is planned to return; some entries exist only to preserve historical context.
